The Birthday Girl!

We had lots of fun celebrating Brooke's 2nd birthday at Chuck E Cheese and the pool.

Packing

Our house is kind of crazy right now, but Canon seems to be enjoying all of the extra boxes, newspaper, and empty cabinets. We have made lots of progress these last couple of days.

Updates from Edna

As most of you know, we are moving to Edna, TX. Josh accepted an assistant baseball coaching position under one of his great friends, Kensey. We are very sad to leave Waco, but this will be such fun for the guys to work together. Of course, they will have a great cheering section with the crazy wives and two rowdy one-year-olds.

We made lots of progress today while in Edna. I was concerned about 3 things: a job for myself, daycare, and a house. I think we covered all three areas in just a few hours!

Job: I interviewed this afternoon and was offered a Pre-K position.
Daycare: Still on the waiting list, but we went by to talk with the director and she seemed very optimistic about Canon getting in.
House: Not much to choose from right now, but we decided on renting a two bedroom loft above a garage...cute place, cheap rent, and the nicest 84-year-old landlord!

We got a lot accomplished today and now we have lots left for us in Waco.

Kensey, Rachel, and Riley here we come!

Alison made a surprise visit and stopped by while passing through Waco. We were so excited and had a fun and quick visit. Canon always loves guests and was sad to see Alison go.



Alison is SO crazy (of course, in a good way) and had Canon dancing to the Michael Jackson Memorial on TV.

Parker

We are dog sitting for my parents this week, and Canon loves Parker! Parker was actually my dog for awhile after college, but my parents adopted him from me.



Parker and Canon make quite the team! Parker chewed the lid off a water bottle, and then Canon poured it all over the floor. Look at that guilty face!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

We started our morning off early with the annual neighborhood parade. Canon and Brooke had lots of fun in their decorated cars and matching outfits!









Canon had his first donut this morning. He loved it so much and was upset at us when we wouldn't let him go back for seconds..ha!

A Beach in Waco?!

The Brejchas introduced us to Airport Beach today, and we had so much fun!! Who knew Waco had a beach?! The water was warm and it's only about 2 minutes from our house!!
